Whitehouse Cottage is located on the edge of the pretty parish of Bradpole and within walking distance of nearby Bridport with its vibrant arts scene, and numerous shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Sitting on the end of a pretty terrace, this charming cottage with its beamed ceiling, tiled flooring and wood burning stove is a cosy retreat for couples or families wishing to enjoy the delights of this popular area.

With numerous walks from the doorstep, and the famous West Bay and harbour just three miles away, this is a great base from which to explore the Jurassic Coast. The stunning coastline is dotted with numerous seaside towns and villages, and trips to Charmouth for fossil hunting, ever popular Lyme Regis, and the sandy beach and promenade at Weymouth are all within easy reach.

At the front of the cottage, a stable door opens into the entrance hall where there is space to leave buckets and spades, coats and boots before continuing through to the cottage sitting room. After a day of adventures, guests can enjoy watching the Smart television with additional BT Sport and Wii games console, or reading a good book on the comfortable sofas. The well-equipped kitchen with dining area is a bright space for cooking and entertaining, and on sunny days the stable door leading out to the rear courtyard garden can be left open to enjoy the fine weather.

On the first floor are two attractive bedrooms, a spacious double room with a feature fireplace, and a cosy twin room with an original tongue-and-groove wall. Both bedrooms share a light and airy bathroom. To the rear of the cottage, the courtyard garden has a bench, chairs, footstools and a table, and is the perfect spot for enjoying a morning coffee or an alfresco breakfast. At the front of the cottage is a shared driveway/path and a pretty enclosed garden with trees, shrubs, flowerbeds, lawn, a charcoal barbecue and gravelled seating area.

One well-behaved dog welcome (small additional charge). Please note that the rear courtyard garden and the separate front garden are both gated, fenced and secure.
