A trip to the charming town of Cerne Abbas, with its Tudor architecture, and the nearby Cerne Giant are also a must on any itinerary. We had an amazing time at Armswell House - privileged to have seen baby calfs being born, this was one of the many highlights from our weekend. The house was well equipped, clean and had great character - there were 15 of us in total with ages from 13 years to 72 years, we all found space to be together and in smaller groups too, or on our own. The games room was a huge hit with the younger ones, and we held the best fancy dress Halloween Party in characteristic surroundings. We had such a great time that we were already planning our next get together before we left, we could've done with a few more days together. Woke up this morning missing the house & all being together!

Fabulous house, all bedrooms were spaceous with clean bathrooms. Large kitchen & dining room, plus plenty of seating in the 2 lounges.We loved the basement games room & the hot tub.
