Set in a beautiful rural landscape in the heart of Dorset, relax and unwind in these beautifully appointed cottages, complete with wood burning stove and luxury touches throughout.
Piddle & Puddle are two adjoined cottages sleeping four guests, with two in each, located in the hamlet of Chebbard, and close to the quaint and picturesque villages of Cheselbourne, Melcombe Bingham, Ansty, Milton Abbas and Dewlish.
There is a lockable adjoining hallway, allowing both couples to enjoy time together without going outside, or otherwise creating privacy. Throughout the cottages you will find wonderful styling with high quality and tasteful furnishings, and thoughtful luxury touches. On the ground floor of each cottage, is an attractive open-plan dining area, kitchen and cosy sitting area with exposed beams and a wood burning stove. French doors offer easy access to the patio area and front garden with views of the beautiful Dorset countryside, a perfect setting for dining alfresco, and there is a paved rear terrace also.
On the first floor in each cottage, you will find a generous bedroom for two, with a king-size bed, luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding and plush Hungarian goose down duvets and pillows for a further touch of luxury. The fabulous en-suite bathrooms are both inclusive of roll-top baths, walk-in showers, and the perfect space in which to relax and unwind after a day spent exploring the nearby coast or countryside.
Piddle & Puddle are ideally placed for those who enjoy countryside walks, with numerous footpaths, and quaint villages nearby. There is plenty to explore within the area including Dorset's second highest hill of Bulbarrow, which offers exceptional views right across Dorset. The market towns of Dorchester, Blandford, Sherborne, Shaftesbury, Wareham and Wimborne are all within easy reach, with plenty of choice for pubs, restaurants and shopping. The glorious Jurassic Coast, including famous Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door is just a short drive away, making the property perfectly situated for enjoying all of the delights of Dorset.

Piddle and puddle are perfect. Probably the most tastefully furnished cottages we have ever stayed in. Very welcoming, comfortable and the basket of treats was gratefully received! We can highly recommend The Thimble Inn. We have walked miles this week all over beautiful Dorset - we were very lucky to have sunny warm weather.

We booked Piddle and Puddle with my parents for a short break, with our young daughter and our dog. The Cottages were perfect., such a beautiful location and the gardens are absolutely stunning. We were very blessed with the weather and the cottages were in the perfect location to enjoy perfect walks and are close to the beach and relaxing in the sunshine. We don't to leave, thank you!
