A pleasant cottage with many quirky features in a peaceful location. Very pleased to find such a comprehensive welcome hamper. Not the easiest of stairs to manoeuvre suitcases. The log burner was very welcome as the evenings were getting cooler. Good supply of logs provided, although I did take my own. The only downside with the logs supplied was that they had been split too small so they burnt far too fast making them at £10 a bag an expensive commodity. we didn't use the electric heating as the log burner heated the whole of the cottage. The cottage is well located for the coast and other attractions.Kitchen was small but adequate, pleased to find a dishwasher. All in all a good experience, we would recommend .

Stayed for a 5 night break in September. Lovely, cosy cottage which was perfect for the 2 of us. Welcome hamper is a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend for a short break

Primrose Cottage was charming, in outstanding decorative repair, extremely well-equipped and the welcome-in hamper was first-class. The owners (whom we contacted simply to advise them that a parcel had arrived for them) were friendly and helpful
