Ideal for a couple or solo retreat, this dog-friendly abode is within easy reach of Dorchester, on the edge of the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. You'll find off-road parking for one car on arrival before making yourself right at home in the open-plan living space. Get stuck into home cooking in the well-equipped kitchen area with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, and a dining table for two. There is also outdoor seating in the shared garden for you to relax with a cold beverage or breakfast al fresco!
Back inside, a snug sitting area has a cushioned sofa and Smart TV for a well-earned break after exploring Dorset. The sink in the bathroom is far too small. The 2 sliding doors didnât close right up (stops not put in the right place?) which previous occupants had noted. The door to the property needs some sort of blind (even though it is opaque glass). Small bin or something similar in the bathroom is needed. Overall we had a good week and it was well placed for local trips. Also the village had a pub (which also did food) and a small well stocked shop. A nice welcome pack was appreciated. The owner said that he had plans to open up an adjoining room to the unit. Overall we were quite happy with the week here and would probably stay again.
