Bay View is a well-liked apartment in Lyme Regis, praised for its stunning views, garden, and proximity to the town and seafront. Guests appreciate the parking space and the thoughtful welcome hamper. While some find the property comfortable and clean, others suggest updates to the decor and facilities. The apartment's suitability for those with mobility issues is a concern due to slippery decking and steep paths.
The property is generally described as clean and comfortable, with only one mention of a musty smell in the living room. The majority of guests did not raise cleanliness as an issue.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the town, seafront, and local amenities, including EV charging. The views and ease of access to local attractions are consistently mentioned as positives.
Comfort receives mixed reviews. Some guests find the property cosy and pleasant, while others suggest the need for new mattresses and bedding. The presence of noise from above and issues with heating are noted.
Facilities are adequate but several guests suggest improvements, such as modernisation, more kitchenware, and better bathroom amenities. The unusable oven shelves and the need for more storage space are drawbacks.
Guests are delighted by the welcome hamper, but as these gifts are subject to change and not guaranteed, they should be considered a bonus rather than an expectation.

Perfect for our short stay. Car park next door also has EV charging which was most convenient too. There were no cleaning cloths/ washing up sponges provided which I think was an oversight as all other cleaning materials were available.

The layout suited us perfectly, it was as if we each had our own wing! The dog loved the garden and the proximity to lovely walks. The bonus was the parking space and the friendly landlord!
