Cosy and relaxing with a traditional feel, the Marquis of Lorne Cottage is set in the picturesque hamlet of Nettlecombe, next door to The Marquis of Lorne pub renowned for its food.  This charming cottage retains many original features, and benefits from a woodburner with unlimited logs for guests to use on colder days and a sunny cottage garden with barbeque to relax in during summer. The cottage is extremely comfortable and brimming with character and charm yet remaining well equipped with Fibre Optic WiFi. 

The cottage is perfectly placed to enjoy the fabulous walking and cycling in the beautiful surrounding countryside, and sitting just five miles inland from Dorset's World Heritage Jurassic Coast there is a wealth of things to do and places to explore from watersports and fossil hunting at West Bay and Lyme Regis, browsing the markets and cafes in lively Bridport, blowing away the cobwebs on the South West Coast Path or enjoying the simple pleasures of a day at one of the stunning nearby beaches.

Kitchen (restricted head height), equipped with electric oven, microwave, fridge with ice box and toaster. 

Family bathroom with shower over bath, W.C. and washbasin.

Bedroom 1 with 4ft 6inch double bed. with access  leading through to bedroom 2

Bedroom 2 with twin 3ft beds. 

Stair gate at top of stairs.

Outside:

Enclosed patio area with a garden bench, a wooden dining table and chairs and a Dancook firepit, which can either use logs or, for a BBQ, charcoal (guests are kindly asked to clean this after use).

Parking:

Parking permission in the adjacent pub car park, Marquis of Lorne.

Electric Cars: Please note that this property does not have suitable facilities for charging electric vehicles.

Included: All bed linen and towels, (please bring your own beach towels), electricity, night storage heaters, Fibre Optic Wi-Fi.  Unlimited supply of logs (October to April).

Pets: One well behaved pet, (second dog by arrangement) welcome in public areas of property only (not bedrooms). Pet Charge: £30.00 per pet per week.
