5 Coastguard Cottage in Portland, Dorset, is a well-regarded holiday rental with a quiet location, lovely sea views, and a charming garden. Guests appreciate the clean, comfortable accommodation and the friendly neighbours. The property's character and proximity to local attractions add to its appeal, although some guests noted the lack of Wi-Fi and challenging parking.
The cottage consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with guests noting it as immaculate and tidy upon arrival.
The location is appreciated for its quietness, sea views, and proximity to local attractions. However, parking difficulties and accessibility issues due to steep hills slightly detract from the experience.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, particularly highlighting the quality of the bed and the garden seating. Some concerns about steep stairs are noted.
While the property is well-equipped, the absence of Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and a freezer compartment in the fridge are mentioned as drawbacks. Parking challenges and steep stairs also affect this score.
