Portland is home to a wealth of attractions and landmarks including the famous Portland Bill Lighthouse, the Castletown D-Day Centre and World War II Museum, Fancy's Farm, the Everlasting Stone Circle, and Tout Quarry Sculpture Park and Nature Reserve, all within 1.5 miles. Driving back to the mainland, you can spend a day in the thriving seaside resort of Weymouth (4 miles).
