You will be welcomed inside by a spacious open-plan living room, where you can relax and unwind into the evening with one of your favourite programmes on TV. Prepare delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy them together at the dining table for four. You may wish to read a book in the sunny conservatory just behind the kitchen, sit in the rocking chair, open the doors and relish in the sunshine!
You will find two bright and spacious double bedrooms on the first floor, one of which has amazing views over the Old Harbour and Jurassic Coast. Have a lazy afternoon in the fully enclosed garden, while your kids play safely with the dog. A number of restaurants, pubs and local cafés are almost at your doorstep, where you can find a meal of your choice. Take a walk along the Old Harbour towards Nothe Fort and Gardens, have a picnic and enjoy a day out with your family. Venture across the town bridge and you will find e variety of shops and supermarkets, where you can buy some souvenirs.
Weymouth’s golden, sandy beach is a 15-minute walk away from the property, where you can bask in the sun all day long if you want. Travel east and in half an hour’s drive you will reach stunning Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Swanage. The opposite direction will take you towards West Bay, Lyme Regis or Abbotsbury. If you are looking for a modern holiday cottage in Weymouth, close to local amenities and a short walk away from the beach, Seahorse Cottage is a perfect choice.
Weymouth offers a wide variety of attractions, appealing to all tastes and ages. The beaches have excellent facilities for all kinds of watersports and from the harbour you can take regular fishing trips. Visit Dorchester, Thomas Hardy’s “Casterbridge”, only 7 miles away, or take a journey along the coastal road and call in at Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens.

Very clean everything you would need. Would recommend to family and friends. We did have very bad rain the first week of our stay and the guttering above the front door was blocked which meant a waterfall outside the front door but did report to dream cottages. Just a couple of things ( but wouldnât stop me visiting again) the pillows were too thin and would be useful having a tumble dryer. It states no dogs allowed on sofa or upstairs but the sofa had a very bad smell of wet dog. . ( i never brought my dog on this visit) Overall a good stay many thanks

This holiday was still lovely, in terms of the location of the property in particular. However, the property is showing signs of being a bit 'tired and worn'. For example, the windows are very old and not easy to open if needed. The bathroom is tired and smells a bit damp. The settee is also quite old and worn now too. For a small investment now, to spruce this lovely property up, it could make a big difference and to be honest the difference as to whether we will chose to stay there again in the future. Thanks
