Guests say

Saddlers Cottage in Weymouth is generally praised for its prime location, comfort, and well-equipped nature. Guests appreciate its proximity to the beach, shops, and restaurants, as well as the thoughtful touches provided by the owners. While parking can be challenging, the provided permit is helpful. The cottage's cleanliness and maintenance received mixed reviews, with some guests finding it spotless and others noting areas for improvement.

Cleanliness experiences varied among guests. Some found the cottage to be very clean and tidy, while others reported issues with dirt on floors and fluff from towels. The mixed feedback suggests room for improvement in ensuring consistent cleanliness standards.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its convenience to the beach, town centre, and local attractions. Despite some concerns about the immediate neighbourhood, the central location and ease of access to Weymouth's amenities are well-regarded by most guests.

Guests generally find the cottage comfortable, with several positive comments about the cosy atmosphere and comfortable beds. However, a few guests mentioned issues with natural light and the steepness of the stairs, which slightly affects the overall comfort score.

Facilities are mostly appreciated, especially the well-equipped kitchen and Wi-Fi. Some guests noted the lack of certain amenities upon arrival and suggested improvements. Maintenance issues were raised by a few, indicating that while facilities are good, there is room for enhancement.

While many reviews mention the owners' helpfulness and the provision of a parking permit, there are no specific references to gifts or special thoughtful gestures that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

The cottage had everything we needed and the photographs don't really do the cottage enough justice... it's a delightful place to stay. It was very cold outside when we visited but the cottage was toasty warm and we felt snug and cozy when we returned from walks with our dog on the beach. Thanks so much to our hosts who were so helpful and on hand with any questions.

Near the beach and town centre. The owners are nice and caring. There had been some maintenance work done and was not cleaned after. Also the windows had not been cleaned. Tony and Rosie are aware of this. Overall we had a lovely stay though.

So handy for getting to town and seeing Weymouth. The cottage owners were very attentive and supportive before and during our stay. I will definitely be back as we had a lovely time :-)
