For whatever reason there seems to be issues with the outer walls as woodlice seem to be invading the property in vast numbers. Many dead ones found daily on the lower floors, especially in the loo area ?. Shame about the pub being closed but overall, it was a pleasant experience.

We found the cottage clean and welcoming, cosy but with plenty of space for the 3 of us plus dog. A real home from home. A bonus is that there are great dog-walks straight from the door and down to the water. The village is quiet, with no through-traffic. We would definitely return to this cottage!

We had a lovely relaxed time. The cottage is so homely and easy to be in. Anything you needed was there. Generally lovely locals, except the self appointed parking adviser !!! Beautiful dog walks picking up a bridle path just around the corner. Would come again as access to local area is convenient too, well positioned
