Nikolaus Cottage is a charming terraced property, resting in the Cotswolds town of Winchcombe, near the large spa town of Cheltenham. Sleeping up to four guests, this is the perfect property for a family who want to escape to the countryside and discover what rural Gloucestershire has to offer. Upon entering the cottage, you will find a tastefully decorated sitting room beneath rustic timber beams, with two sofas for you and the family to relax on by the fireplace together and watch TV after a day of exploring. Towards the back of the cottage there is the kitchen/diner, with all the essential appliances you need to enjoy some home-cooked meals together in the evening or rustle up quick meals-to-go before setting out. Heading upstairs you will discover the bright and pleasant king-size bedroom, with exposed beams that boast the rustic charm of the cottage, whilst across the hallway find the homely twin bedroom, with windows showcasing views of the vibrant back garden. The bathroom on the first floor has everything you need to get ready for the day, featuring a bath, walk-in shower, heated towel rail and underfloor heating to help you unwind in style after a day of walking in the Cotswolds Hills, whilst back on the ground floor there is a cloakroom which contains a handy washer/dryer. Enjoy a morning coffee or a summer evening meal amongst the flowers in the enclosed and tiered back garden, while your dog’s stretch their legs. The cottage is at the heart of Winchcombe and is a short walk away from the local pub, The Lion Inn, and an array of independent shops such as: Lavender Blue, JUST inCASE Gifts, BARNBURY and more for you to browse local goods.
