For keen walkers and cyclists, a network of scenic Forest tracks for walking, mountain biking and cycling runs through the hamlet. You’ll also find a flat walk from Ellwood into the pretty market town of Coleford, just over 2 miles away, home to a fabulous selection of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Thrill seekers can enjoy rock climbing, caving and canoeing at Symonds Yat (10.5 miles), Go Ape at Mallards Pike (5 miles), and the downhill mountain biking tracks at Sallow Vallets (4 miles).
