This stunning town lies in the Vale of Berkeley, on the western fringes of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Berkeley is a superb holiday base, hosting a dramatic 12th-century castle, a selection of amenities and the fascinating Dr Jenner’s House, Museum and Garden. On the outskirts of the town is Cattle Country Adventure Farm Park, perfect for a fun-filled family day. Spend a day in the picturesque market town of Stroud, browsing the eclectic mix of shops selling everything from fossils to fairies and vintage to vinyl, or make your way to Cirencester, home to some fabulous amenities and widely considered the capital of the Cotswolds.

Lovely house. All the family loved it. Perfect for a family gathering. A few things to mention would be that some more outside seating would be useful and a barbecue area. Also a lack of larger bowls and plates for serving food is needed and some hanging space and useable drawers in some of the rooms would be helpful .

We had a lovely family Christmas break. The house was perfect for a shared entertaining space and bedroom layouts suited us really well. Nothing to think about except enjoying our family time.Everything we needed was to hand and the house delivered on space, facilities and atmosphere.Great to chill, or visit local places or just enjoy a country walk. All the locals we met were friendly and said hello and the village is well served by local convenience shops and pubs.
