On the first floor you can find an elegant double bedroom, and on the second-floor two more double bedrooms.
The cottage is nestled in the pretty village of Uley, a short drive from the bustling market town of Stroud in the Gloucestershire countryside. Set on the outside fringes of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are a number of trails for walking and cycling opportunities to get involved with such as the Laurie Lee Wildlife Way and Stroudwater Canal Walk. Close by is an art cafe, a local village shop, and a local pub serving delicious food, as well as the famous Uley Bury, a local village church, along the Cotswold walk way.
Make sure you visit the nearby town of Stroud for its award-winning farmer’s market, considered to be one of the most popular in the UK. The Stroud district is home to a range of historic houses, such as the 12th century Berkeley Castle, the Elizabethan manor house of Chavenage House, and the Grade listed Frampton Court.

The cottage was lovely, clean & enough room for the weekend. There were a few things that could do with a fix ( cold water tap in bathroom sink, wobbly toilet cistern in bathroom & sticking back door). Delicious cake, loaf of bread & milk to welcome us. And being really fussy no teabags with the many types of coffee!!!Beds lovely and comfortable. Uley is a beautiful part of the Gloucestershire countryside

WOW ! What an absolute amazing cottage, immaculately clean, well equipped everything you need for a great stay The lovely welcome gifts were so thoughtful.The only thing that the lounge would benefit from is a lamp for a cosy feel especially with the log fire burning, as the main lights were quite bright.

Cosy cottage, beautifully furnished and well equipped. Delicious cake, fresh bread and milk provided on our arrival so very welcome and such a thoughtful touch. Fresh flowers also greeted us and logs, lighters for the wood burner. Every room is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The bathroom is just pure luxury. If you struggle with stairs then this cottage is not for you as they are steep and winding but other than that would highly recommend this property. Niki communicated well and gave us tips on local eateries and also a mobile hairdresser (Sophie). Only thing I would suggest is bigger bath towels.
