Poppy Cottage is a cosy two bedroom cottage which caters for up to four people, with an open plan living area, a walk-in shower and a wood burner. There’s a ground floor bedroom with a super kingsize bed which can be single beds on request, with another kingsize bedroom upstairs with an en-suite shower room. Children are welcome at Poppy Cottage and a travel cot and highchair can be provided on request.
Within easy reach of Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole, Wells with its magnificent cathedral, the renowned Clarks Village shopping outlet at Street and National Trust properties at Clevedon Court, Tyntesfield and Montacute House. Splendid walks and cycle trails, and nearby Chew Valley Lakes is a modern reservoir and a mecca for birdwatchers and fishermen. Further afield are Exmoor National Park, the re-developed docklands and shopping of Bristol, and the memorable regency architecture of Bath. Beach 5 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub 1½ miles, restaurant 5½ miles.

We loved poppy cottage, spacious enough for 4 adults and a border collie. Well equiped lots of towels supplied including for the hot tub, comfy beds , great hot tub and garden furniture in enclosed paved garden. We didnt have the best weather but it didnt spoil our time, we visited the drive on beaches at uphill and brean both sandy and dog friendly and close by.also visited the helicopter museum just down the road. We met Tom when we arrived he was lovely and both him and michelle were contactable before hand Lovely bank holiday weekend family time

What a beautiful cottage, well looked after and well laid out, kitchen has everything you need, beds very comfortable, (mind your head in the upper bedroom).The hot tub fantastic.The only downside was settee and chair in the lounge area both had seen better days.Would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like a relaxing break in a wonderful cottage.
