Guests say

Luckington Stables is highly praised for its peaceful rural setting, well-equipped cottage, and welcoming hosts. Guests particularly enjoy the hot tub with countryside views, spacious enclosed garden, and dog-friendly touches. The property is comfortable and ideal for both families and couples seeking relaxation. While most reviews highlight cleanliness and comfort, a few mention areas for improvement such as worn sofas and occasional cleaning lapses. Overall, the positive experiences and attentive service from the hosts stand out, making it a popular choice for repeat visitors.

Most guests found the cottage very clean and well-presented, with fresh linen and towels. However, a minority noted issues such as worn pillows, sofas, and occasional lapses in cleaning standards, particularly for a pet-friendly property. These comments slightly lower the overall impression but do not overshadow the generally positive feedback.

The rural, tranquil location is frequently praised for its beautiful views, privacy, and proximity to local attractions. Guests appreciate the peaceful countryside setting, though some note the need for a car to access shops and sights. The location is a key highlight for those seeking relaxation.

Guests consistently mention comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and a warm, cosy atmosphere. The property is suitable for families, those with pets, and guests with mobility needs. Some feedback suggests the sofas could be updated, but overall comfort remains a strong point.

The cottage is well-equipped with a hot tub, enclosed garden, BBQ area, and a utility room. The hot tub and outdoor space are standout features. Some guests mention minor maintenance issues such as worn crockery and sofas, but these do not detract significantly from the overall experience.

Many guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as welcome packs, dog treats, toys, and helpful communication from the hosts. While these gestures are warmly received, it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.
