Patio doors open to an enclosed garden, where you can unwind with outdoor furniture and a BBQ, perfect for those warm summer evenings. Upstairs, you’ll find two inviting double bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts an en-suite shower room and a Smart TV for added comfort. The additional double bedroom is perfect for other guests, complemented by a family bathroom. Bluebell House welcomes one small dog, with the request to keep them off the furniture and downstairs. With parking available for two cars on the driveway, Bluebell House ensures convenience and ease of access. Bluebell House is the perfect base for guests to explore Frome and its surrounding attractions. A lovely walk along the River Frome and through Rodden Meadow takes you into the centre of Frome in 20 minutes. This market town offers unique shops, bars, and restaurants to suit all budgets. The picturesque St Catherine’s Hill features charming vintage clothing and craft shops. Markets are held every Wednesday and Saturday, with the independent market being a special highlight on the first Sunday of each month, from March to December. The area is an ideal base for exploring nearby attractions such as Stonehenge, Stourhead Gardens, Longleat House, Safari Park and Gardens, Wells Cathedral and Bishops Palace, and the spiritual town of Glastonbury with its abbey and tor. Excellent location, close to Frome and lots of attractions. Instructions on how to work appliances and also the heating system would be helpful and maybe some info on nearby places to eat etc.There is a large Asda store close by which you pass on route to the house which is very convenient.

Bluebell House was a perfect accommodation for us. Some of the cottages we stayed in previously had damp issues, so it was a relief to arrive at a clean and properly constructed house. A very quiet neighbourhood, and Frome was within walking distance along a river. The owner kindly let us extend our stay.

The cottage was in a quiet location away from the town centre. It’s in a good location to visit Bath, Wells and Stourhead House and Gardens. The cottage was comfortable and had a good sized kitchen and diner. Some of the kitchen equipment utensils could be renewed and more information required regarding appliances and rubbish and recycling. We missed the usual visitors book for recommendations for places to visit. What was most disappointing was the cleanliness of the cottage. When we arrived it was clear the kitchen counters and the kitchen floor had not been cleaned properly as there was food debris on both. The kitchen sink and toilets had not been cleaned to a reasonable standard. We cleaned the essential bits ourselves, which we should not have to have done, but felt it the better option than have to call someone back and waste valuable holiday time on something that should have been done properly in the first place. Had the clean been of a better standard Bluebell House would be a nice place to stay.
