Welcome to The Stables, a fabulous cottage newly renovated in 2022 to provide a wonderful relaxing retreat, perfect for your next holiday in Somerset. Inside you have a spacious open plan living space, with beamed ceilings and tasteful furnishings including a comfortable sofa to chill out on and a Smart TV so you can catch up on your favourite streaming shows. The kitchen area has a breakfast bar with stools and is the perfect spot for a meal at any time of day. Head through to the large bedroom where you will find a double bed, statement lighting and an en-suite shower room. Outside, the private courtyard has a charming seating area to enjoy after a busy day exploring the area and a great place for a chilled glass of your favourite tipple!
Set in the village of Brent Knoll, there is a local pub just a short walk away or jump in the car where you will find a lovely carvery pub, large garden centre with coffee shop and petrol station with a convenience store. Just under 3 miles away you have the seaside town of Burnham on Sea with its many shops and eateries as well as the beach to explore. For some culture, you have the city of Bath with its historic centre and Roman architecture. The famous Cheddar Gorge is within a short drive where you will see mountain goats in the gorge or enjoy some locally made cheddar cheese!

Was a lovely place but our 2 little Jack Russells weren’t allowed on the furniture like they do with us at home,also no grass for them to use early mornings…no enclosed area either to let them run free.ideal though for couples but I wouldn’t class it as dog friendly..we cut short our stay..

The Stable is in a beautiful location near Brent Knoll. The garden on entry is so pretty and you have a table and two chairs to sit outside on a nice day. Inside the kitchen is well equipped and washing up liquid and cloths for cleaning are available. We got biscuits tea n coffee to welcome us. We had clean towels and a lovely comfy bed to sleep in .The owners are so friendly and text upfront to say we could check in early as it was ready. I would definitely recommend staying here and will be returning on our next visit in the area.

We had a good stay.The one problem we had was dealt with strait away.Pretty place to stay. Quite and tucked out of the way.Nice area with outside seating and fire if required.This is the first time we have let ourselves into our accommodation with out the hostess, it felt strange. No welcome pack as in the detailing, Not a problem we took all we needed for our holiday.
