I was staying here for a long weekend because my son & fiancée are in the adjacent barn conversion for several weeks while their house purchase finalises. I came to visit them. I found Overshot to be extremely clean, comfortable and cozy as well as being very convenient for my family. I didn’t really use anything in the kitchen but the fridge and kettle but it looked to be well equipped. I found the bed firm but comfortable- I prefer a firm bed. I’m sure the cottage would be lovely in the summer with the large doors open but even in November it captured every bit of available sunshine! The outlook was very pretty too. I did not meet my hosts which was a shame but I had no real need of them as everything was spot on! Thank you for a trouble free and pleasant stay.

We found overshot to be lacking in comfort the bed was very hard and my wife had trouble sleeping the sofa was in need of being replaced it was lumpy and tired looking . There were hardly any cleaning products for shower room or toilet so we had to provide these in order to keep things clean . More info is needed about surrounding areas especially for dog walks and places to visit. The field opposite the property was a great thing to be able to exercise our dog in and we were pleased for that . Overshot was in a lovely location for those people who wanted peace and quiet
