Maybank Cottages consists of three individual and attractive cottages sitting within the Clifton Maybank Estate, and they are perfect for accommodating large families or groups, with each offering stylish and comfortable accommodation.

The wonderful trio of Stable House, Bake House, and Brew House, collectively known as Maybank Cottages, provides an ideal setting for gathering everyone together for a special occasion, family break or holiday. After a sensitive restoration, each cottage has been thoughtfully styled and furnished with space, light and comfort foremost. The cottages have individual garden areas, and are in close proximity to each other; and when occupied collectively, make a perfect setting for a large group. With plenty of space for up to sixteen guests, ample parking, garden areas, a tennis court, and the estate grounds to explore, everyone will be well catered for.

Stable House for six guests is the larger of the cottages, with its well-appointed first floor dining kitchen, and bright double aspect sitting room with 55 inch Smart television and a wood burning stove. The large master bedroom suite with a super-king size bed, sitting and dressing areas, and en-suite bathroom also sits on the first floor. The two remaining bedrooms, both also with super-king size beds are located side by side on the ground floor, each having their own attractive shower rooms with high pressure rainfall showers. A large hallway and a utility/boot room completes the ground floor of this substantial holiday home.

Bake House and Brew House are a pair of charming semi-detached, 17th century cottages, and both cleverly combine traditional features with bright, modern styling.

Bake House for six guests centres around a comfortable sitting room with a wood burning stove, 55” Smart television, large sofas and cosy reading nooks either side of a chimney, and there is a stylish, dual aspect well-equipped dining kitchen. The first-floor has under-floor heating and comprises three bedrooms: one super-king with its own en-suite bathroom, and two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom.

Brew House has a shaker-style, well-equipped dining kitchen and a sitting room featuring an original hamstone fireplace with wood burning stove. There is a 55” Smart television and plenty of comfortable seating. The first-floor has under-floor heating and comprises two super-king bedrooms: one en-suite, the other with huge proportions, triple aspect views and easy access to a family bathroom.

There is a lawned garden with flower borders and a picnic bench in front of the cottages, and barbecues for alfresco dining in summer months. Guests have the opportunity to explore the surrounding grounds with walks across the fields to the nearby river and tennis court. The pretty market town of Sherborne with its boutique shops, famous Abbey and castles, along with the well serviced town of Yeovil are both within easy reach.
