Exmoor is inhabited by ponies and red deer, with heather-clad moors and many pretty villages on your doorstep. Visit the highest coast in Britain, Dunkery Beacon with its panoramic views, Porlock Weir and Minehead with their pretty harbours and the South West coastal path for longer walks and the breathtaking views.
The property owners welcome electric car owners, and can provide overnight charging facilities using a standard 3 pin socket giving a 3Kwh charge to the car battery at a fixed cost. Please advise if you will require this facility in advance. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ash Lodge as the accommodation is absolutely brilliant. Very clean, spacious and very comfortable. The lodge is in a great location, quiet and peaceful on a working farm with chickens, sheep and two horses The owners are very friendly and helpful, and their dog is very friendly too.Excellent for exploring various places near and far by car, like Dunster Castle and Minehead. Further afield is Burnham on Sea.

Beautiful lodge in peaceful surroundings, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Lots to visit in local area then watch the wildlife from the balcony. Wine and fresh eggs a lovely bonus.An unexpected hiccup with the water supply was efficiently dealt with by Clive and Judith who ensured it didn’t cause us any problems.
