We booked this place due to the hot tub, the privacy and the large outdoor space for our dog. This is by far the best cottage we have ever been and the attention to detail is excellent! The house was lovely and full of character, it was clean and had everything we needed. We arrived late at night and it was really handy to have milk in the fridge for the morning coffee (it has a nespresso machine too which was a bonus for us!) This place is more than dog friendly, we have a Labrador and often dog friendly stays cater for smaller breeds, its not the case with this one! It had a large bed for our boy to use and a basket with treats, poop bags, towel and even a spare lead and a little collar batch with the host's contact number, in case your pooch gets lost. The hot tub was also by far the best one we have used. I can't fault this place or the host in any way. Karen (the host) was lovely, she made sure we settled in ok and even gave us some tips regarding the local area. Despite the stormy weather we managed to enjoy the place fully as well as the surrounding area. This is the perfect place for a much needed R&R!We can't wait to come back!

Great place, garden is fantastic for relaxing & also playing with the dogs.(paddock is an added bonus) The hot tub is great to relax in at the end of the day but it does need a privacy screen from the houses opposite. There are some deep steps both inside & outside the property. With the house being of an age some floors are unlevel and deep steps so careful when walking especially down to the upstairs bathroom & double bedroom. Some bits need attention. Karen the host is lovely, very helpful & has thought of all things you need within the house and the cake was a lovely surprise x

Had a wonderful 2 weeks in Pete’s Place - very home from home with all equipment needed - Hot tub was the finishing touch, we used this every day. The garden was perfect for us as we had beautiful weather and everything was so relaxing and comfortable- Bedrooms and bathroom have quaint features and again very comfortable. Karen thank you for allowing us to stay in your fabulous cottage we will be returning ! If you book this 5 star property you will not be disappointed.
