The practical kitchen area and dining table make it easy to share meals after days exploring Exmoor. Outside, a superb wood-fired hot tub faces wide valley views and Exmoor’s dark skies, adding a special way to round off active days. A south-facing patio with picnic table suits a sunny breakfast or a laid-back lunch outdoors. Peaceful sleeping spaces are set downstairs, away from the main living area. From the hamlet of Hawkridge you can drive to Dulverton for local shops, or follow walking and cycling routes across the moor to spots such as Tarr Steps, Wimbleball Lake, Dunster, Porlock, the North Devon coastline and the Valley of Rocks.
