Welcome to Anchors Away, a wonderful and spacious, one bedroomed ground floor apartment in the heart of Blue Anchor, with stunning views across the bay to Minehead.
Step through the door and into your bright, airy and well equipped kitchen/diner, complete with electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The cosy living room has comfy sofas and chairs to snuggle up on while watching TV or when gazing out through the conservatory to the garden and the sea beyond. Speaking of which, the conservatory has a seating area and double doors that lead to your private enclosed garden, perfect for the dog or you to relax and enjoy. The bedroom has a double bed and separate dressing area, while the shower room has a large cubicle shower and toilet.
Blue Anchor is a wonderful seaside village, set between Minehead and Watchet, with a fabulous stretch of beach which is perfect for year round use and is also dog friendly at all times! The beautiful West Somerset Steam Railway, which runs through Blue Anchor, has a stop here and they offer wonderful trips as well as speciality trips with steam fairs, afternoon teas, candlelight dinners and the amazing Santa Express! Nearby, head to the medieval village of Dunster with its wonderful castle, spend a day at the arcades or shopping in Minehead, pop to Watchet and stroll around the Harbour or head inland onto Exmoor.

Superb accomodation, extremely well equiped and some nice touches regarding some provisions in the fridge and elsewhere. The owner has definitely paid outstanding attention to detail and cleanliness. A real credit to the holiday hospitality industry.

Kept well informed prior to going ( what was included, exact directions. ) even got a message to let me know if we could get in earlier. A very extensive welcome package was there on arrival. We meet our hosts on arrival and everything was explained to us where and what things we should see are and do. The place was very well equipped with everything we needed plus treats and extras for our 2 dogs 🐕 ( cavachons ). We spent several lovely evening's in the hot tub watching the sunset. The Bed was very comfortable. Really nice shower with plenty of hot water. All in all a very good place to stay
