This detached property is Grade II listed, full of character and is situated in an enviable position on the seafront in Minehead. This cottage is ideal for families or friends, in search of a relaxing, seaside break. With a comfy and homely feel, this period cottage still retains many features such as exposed beams, a feature fireplace and window seats. The tiled country kitchen and dining area, is perfect for enjoying your home-cooked meals together, whilst chatting about the day’s events. Take a visit to the medieval village of Dunster, where the castle dominates the skyline, or take a ride on the West Somerset steam train along the coast to the little harbour village of Watchet.

Situated in a wonderful sheltered spot beneath the dramatic North Hill, the popular seaside resort of Minehead is located on the spectacular North Somerset Coast. This welcoming town offers a mile long esplanade as well as an impressive golden beach and pretty harbour, visited in the summer by the famous paddle steamer Waverley. Excellent fishing is also available here and visitors can enjoy a nostalgic steam train journey on the West Somerset Railway from the seafront, or alternatively, take a trip to Blenheim Gardens - winner of numerous awards for its beautiful floral displays and fascinating model village. Renowned for the largest herd of red deer in England, Exmoor National Park offers great walking routes through its wooded valleys and heather clad moors whilst the magnificent Norman Castle at nearby Dunster is an excellent attraction for those interested in history.

Wonderful location right by the beach lovely walks with our new Boxer puppy. You literally just need to bring yourself everything else is there and so well thought out . The cottage is cosy and warm and in a great location opposite the beach and between 2 pubs. It is also very well equipped throughout and also for our 2 dogs with throws, towels etc provided. A very pleasant stay.
