Trinity Cottage in Roadwater is highly praised for its well-equipped nature, cleanliness, and spaciousness, offering a comfortable stay with modern decor and great facilities. The village's amenities, including a community shop, tea room, play park, and pub, are appreciated, as well as the property's proximity to local attractions and walks. The games room is a hit among guests, and the thoughtful touches by the owner are well-received, contributing to the property's charm and appeal for a peaceful countryside getaway.
Guests consistently mention the property's cleanliness, with one isolated report of an overfull rubbish bin and maggots upon arrival. However, this seems to be an exception, as the majority of reviews highlight the property's cleanliness, indicating high standards are typically maintained.
The location is frequently commended for its peacefulness, proximity to a well-stocked village shop, pub, and local attractions. The scenic walks and easy access to Somerset's highlights contribute to a high score, with guests finding the location ideal for both relaxation and exploration.
Comfort is a standout feature, with guests expressing satisfaction with the spacious and well-furnished rooms, comfortable beds, and cosy atmosphere. The property's ability to accommodate different family sizes and the presence of multiple communal spaces for relaxation and quiet time contribute to the high comfort level experienced by visitors.
The property's facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen, games room, and ample bathrooms, are highly praised. However, there are minor maintenance issues mentioned, such as a leaking water container in the fridge and a suggestion for a rotary line for washing. Overall, the facilities meet guests' needs effectively.
