Sleeping just two guests, the one-bedroom, single-storey abode is just 2 miles from the coast at Blue Anchor. Head here to stroll along the sand, paddle in the sea or step onto the South West Coast Path. Find yourselves 1.5 miles from Washford, 4 miles from Watchet and 7 miles from Minehead, providing plenty of choice when it comes to shopping and dining out. The dramatic landscapes of spectacular Exmoor National Park are just 3 miles from the cottage and offer a plethora of scenic footpaths and interesting trails to follow. The Quantock Hills, with their heathland, moorland and panoramic views, are 6 miles from Old Cleeve. Plan a trip out to the peaceful hamlet of Bossington, 11.5 miles away, with its thatched cottages and pebble beach that is home to an abundance of wildlife.

Let yourself into the cottage via the porch, where you can slip off your muddy boots before stepping into the hall. Wander into the bright lounge to kick back on the sofa and simply enjoy the views through the picture window. Find your favourite programme on the TV instead or head through to the delightful sunroom with your book. Open the doors to the garden here on fine days so you can gaze out at the greenery. The kitchen/diner also has a scenic outlook. Find everything you need in this light room to help you prepare tasty meals for each other. There is a table where you can sit down to eat together or linger with a cup of coffee. When day turns to night and you are ready to rest your head on your pillow, your inviting super-king-size bedroom awaits. This is arranged with zip and link beds that can also be made up as two singles, by advance agreement, if required. The bathroom is a generous size and provides you with the choice of a steaming shower or a hot, bubbly soak in the tub.

Make the most of your enchanting, private, enclosed garden as often as possible. Guests are also welcome to explore the larger, mature shared gardens. You have private, off-road parking for one car. Additional space may be available if discussed in advance.
