Situated in the quaint hamlet of Highway, within the parish of Hilmarton, St. Peters boasts a rich heritage, with the estate having been in the family since the 1930s. Accommodating up to seven guests, St. Peters is reminiscent of its history as a church, providing the ideal space for both communal gathering and personal retreat.
As you step through the imposing church door, you’re greeted by the warm embrace of original beams and the glow of colourful stained-glass windows.The ground floor welcomes you with a living room furnished with a wood burner, perfect for cosy evenings by the fire, as well as a Smart TV and plush sofas for relaxation.
The kitchen includes marble counters, a four-oven range cooker, induction hob, family size fridge/freezer, and all the accoutrements needed to cook a fine meal. The joint dining area provides a convivial space to eat and talk, while a utility room and downstairs shower room offer practicality and convenience for all.
Ascending the grand staircase, guests will find four thoughtfully arranged bedrooms, each offering a tranquil haven for rest. A second bathroom awaits upstairs, complete with a deep claw foot bath, offering indulgent moments of rest and relaxation.

Unique house in a beautiful setting and wonderful area

Great location with supermarkets and town within a short drive, property was great as a dog friendly rental although some elements would benefit from an upgrade( kitchen doors). Any updates would only be cosmetic and didn't have any impact on our stay.. Communication from the owner was good and left us feeling relaxed . Fabulous decor and comfy beds with a log burner for chilly nights. Excellent value for money. Overall we had a great time and would recommend this property

Lovely building and lovely location. Very well equipped and the beds were very comfy (was tempted to smuggle the pillows in my suitcase!)The host was very friendly and helped us out when we had an issue with my daughter's medical equipment.
