A beautiful village set on the east coast of Scotland in Aberdeenshire. Cruden Bay is built around breathtaking fields as well as many historical buildings including the well-known Slains Castle on the outskirts, which you can visit. This small village is a great base for a holiday as it provides a shop, Post Office, Chinese takeaway and a pub, not to mention an incredible beach. Cruden Bay is also home to a golf course, that is consistently ranked inside the world’s top 50; recognised as a architectural masterpiece for its dramatic dunes and stunning sea views. Nearby there are some fantastic places that you need to visit. Peterhead offers a great selection of shops and restaurants, as well as many things to do and see including a museum. I was a bit concerned about some of the reviews but this little holiday cottage was great value for money for a 4- night stay in the Cotswolds. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and had absolutely everything you could need. It is located in a pretty little village in a very quiet cul-de-sac, with parking right outside the door. Well positioned for the places we wanted to visit and I had the best four nights sleep I've had in a very long time in the very comfy bed.

We felt that the threat of having to replace bedding if dog hairs found was out of order and had we known this prior to booking, we wouldnât have booked. Nice location spoilt by a constant stream of tradesmen vans coming and going and parking overnight outside cottage on road in front of kitchen. Good location to visit area.
