We spent the week relaxing and taking walks with our dog. Visited Ludgershall Castle and Old Sarum. Also walked at Sidbury Hill, Warren Hill and explored the footpaths in Collingbourne Kingston.Good:Garden, lounge, hot water, wifi, parking, property information & library. We were aware the stairs would be steep. Not so good:Bathroom could benefit from a vertical rail to provide hands-free showering. The microwave oven is worn/rusty inside and also needed a clean before it could be used. Maybe consider replacing one of the single beds with a double, to offer a couple a choice of bedrooms (the double bedroom is currently much smaller).

This is a lovely quaint cottage in a peaceful location. If you are holidaying with your dog, it is perfect. The garden is lovely and sunny, and securely fenced, and there are beautiful countryside walks just minutes from the front door. It's a good location for many beautiful walks both on the downs, in woods and along the canals, all well away from roads. We plan to return.

We have had an excellent time in the cottage. Everything which needed to be there you could find. With pictures of how it used to be in the house and a full folder with every information of what to find in the house and how to use it, it was more than expected. It was warm and cozy and even with the four of us there was plenty of space to feel comfy. We recommend this place with all our hearts and hope we have the opportunity to come back!
