Lovely cottage with gorgeous open fire. The cottage is spacious and is well equipped. Host was responsive when there was an isue. Recommend this place to stay

A DELIGHTFUL stay. What a gorgeous cottage, comfiest of beds, coziest of living spaces with a wood burner of joy and all else that you need. (Including a great selection of puzzles and books!) I came because I'm thinking of moving to the area and wanted an idea of whether I could live in as small a village. An easy walk to 4 pubs (2 in Broughton Gifford 2 in nearby Holt) and I could have gone to the village quiz night if I hadn't already bought tickets to a folk gig in Corsham. Did all my shopping at the Lowden Farm Shop about a 5min drive away. (Even have a fish man on a Weds from 9am to about 1pm) Max the owner was super helpful for any questions about the local area or if I couldn't figure anything out Highly recommend.

Really lovely stay, celebrating a 30th Birthday. The space was spacious and well decorated, we felt very comfortable. Easy to reach Bath and pubs within walking distance. Would recommend for a quiet and relaxing stay.
