For us this was perfect! A lovely rural spot, with a footpath and field right outside to walk the dog! A 10/15 minute walk to the village proper along the side of the river. The village has the most magnificent pub - The Queens Head - with warm hospitality and mouth watering food. We had the most wonderful time in this idyllic, relaxing peaceful cottage.

Donna was very helpful but not obtrusive. Everything was very clean. I found the oven tricky at first but found instructions in the drawer. Downstairs has a really nice feel to it. Upstairs is a bit low but you get used to it. I enjoyed sitting in the window seat and watching the birds and stream next door. You need a car to get your food as shop is a walk down busy country lane. The white hart in bishop stone is good food and welcoming. Really enjoyed getting away from it all and WiFi works well too.
