Treat your favourite people to a relaxing break away at this quaint bell tent on a welcoming glamping site, set within a farm in the heart of the beautiful Suffolk countryside. Just 1.5 miles outside the village of Lakenheath, it’s one of six tents on site, sleeping four people in one open-plan living space. It’s a lovely accommodation choice for families or groups of friends who are in search of a simple, back-to-nature hideaway where they can share plenty of fresh air and evenings around the shared fire pit together. Keen birdwatchers can spend happy mornings at RSPB Lakenheath Fen (2 miles), while thrill-seekers should head to the RAF Lakenheath Viewing Area (2 miles) to watch military aircraft climb into the skies. Further afield, enjoy a day at the races in Newmarket (15 miles), or explore the abbey ruins in Bury St Edmunds (18 miles).

Step inside your unique bell tent and you’ll find an inviting open-plan space where a double bed and two single beds create a simple, restful base beneath the canvas. Storage space provides ample room for your belongings, and electric blankets are available for chillier evenings. You’ll discover the shared outdoor kitchen nearby, where you have your own fridge, kettle, and box of cookware, and there’s also an on-site cafe if your head chef wants to take the night off. An external private shower room with its own walk-in shower and WC also sits nearby.

Outside, a BBQ and a picnic bench set the scene for easy al fresco meals, and the shared kitchen area is there if you need to use a microwave or sink. After dinner, take a seat in the glow of the shared central fire pit and get to know your neighbours while you toast marshmallows.
