If there were more stars for the cottage, its equipment, cleanliness and location I would give it more! Stunning views, thoughtfully equipped and laid out, fresh veg & eggs on arrival, great garden for the dog, excellent wood burning stove …. all very much enjoyed & we will definitely be going again! We enjoyed our stay at Cherry Cottage very much, such a peaceful location and cottage very homely, clean and comfortable, with everything we need provided. Clare and Richard were very welcoming and the welcome basket full of lovely provisions and wine much appreciated. Lovely garden and surrounding scenery which can be seen from the table while eating breakfast or evening meal. Pub nearby, and shop about half a mile. Useful bus service into Shotley where there is good food at The Shipwreck (when open) and Bristol Arms. Dog friendly at cottage and in most pubs nearby. Our dog enjoyed the country walks and Shotley beach too. With a car there are plenty of places in Suffolk to visit and explore. We would recommend a stay at Cherry Cottage and would love to return.

Very clean and comfortable cottage. Well equipped in the kitchen, good tv with good reception. We enjoyed the views from the dining room window. Bedrooms spacious with large comfortable beds and sufficient wardrobe store for clothes , bathroom clean and good water pressure.
