A short drive brings you to Thetford Forest, the UK's largest lowland pine forest offering outdoor activities, events and excellent mountain biking trails. If you would rather explore the area by bike, there are some fantastic rural roads linking beautiful villages. For nature lovers, just two miles away is Knettishall Heath offering a haven for wildlife and a beautiful area to discover with its heathland, meadows and tapestry of woodland. The cottage is in easy reach of the historic and picturesque towns of Diss and Bury St Edmunds which offer events throughout the year.
