Since Aldeburgh is within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the scenery is guaranteed to be spectacular whatever you do. Discover some local history at the Red House (1.5 miles) where the composer Benjamin Britten lived for two decades. Further afield, the popular seaside resort of Southwold (18.5 miles), with its lighthouse and pier, is highly recommended.
