Set less than 500 metres from the pebble beach, it’s the perfect base for traditional days at the seaside. You’ll also be within 500 metres of the town centre, with its vast array of independent shops and eateries. In the evenings, entertain outdoors in the large garden, followed by a game of darts in the garage or a sundowner in the garden room.

The detached period property sits on a pretty, tree-lined street. Once inside, you’ll find opulent interiors and original features, creating a memorable setting for your holiday. The vast kitchen/diner is a bright and airy space that’s perfect for entertaining. After dinner, retire to the lounge to read a book by the open fire, gather in the garden room to watch TV, or head to the garage for a game of table tennis or darts. Aldeburgh is an attractive seaside town, with pastel-coloured houses, a long promenade, and picturesque sand and shingle beach. After a potter around the shops and galleries, head down to the beach to watch the fishing boats coming and going and perhaps pick up some fresh seafood for your supper. Heading south, you’ll soon reach Orford (11.5 miles). This idyllic village makes a lovely day out; wander amongst its pretty cottages, dine in a cosy pub, admire the ancient castle, or hop on the ferry to explore the wildlife havens of Orford Ness and Havergate Island.
