A quaint couple’s retreat resting in the seaside town of Aldeburgh, Suffolk, Rosemary Cottage is close to local amenities and attractions. Be welcomed into one of the oldest buildings in Aldeburgh, still fitted with the original baker’s oven, an make yourself at home in the sitting room, where the character of this historic property can be enjoyed, most notably in the brick fireplace where an open fire warms your feet in the cooler months. The quaint kitchen offers amenities to make it easy to create a romantic meal for two, which can be enjoyed at the dining table or outside in the garden. Refresh in the ground-floor wet room before ascending the steps and getting cosy for the night in the master bedroom, where quaint décor adds to the seaside cottage atmosphere. Aldeburgh is a splendid seaside town with many things to do, beginning with a great selection of independent shops, eateries and a local museum, so why not try out some local produce before learning more about the local area? An extensive pebble beach makes walks with your significant other delightful, and here you can also try out watersports or indulge in a romantic picnic with a view. The Snape path and Haven Nature Reserve are a great place to enjoy the scenery, however, you can head inland to the close by village of Orford where walks around Orford Castle make the perfect day out. Create a romantic holiday to remember with a stay at Rosemary Cottage.
The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!
