Guests say

This summary has been generated using feedback from guests who have stayed at this property

Sandpiper Cottage is praised for its excellent location in Aldeburgh, close to the beach and amenities. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, charming decor, and the welcome basket. Comfort is noted with cosy furnishings, though some maintenance issues are mentioned. The cottage's potential shines through despite some concerns.

Cleanliness

The property is consistently described as clean, with particular mention of its immaculate condition upon arrival. However, there are comments about the need for a deep clean of certain items, slightly lowering the score.

Location

The location is highly praised for being close to the high street, restaurants, and the seafront, making it an ideal spot for guests. The only drawback is the parking situation, which is not as convenient as some guests expected.

Comfort

Guests find the beds and sofas comfortable, and the presence of a log burner adds to the cosiness. However, issues with heating and steep stairs have affected the comfort level for some.

Facilities

While the property is well-equipped, several maintenance issues such as problems with hot water pressure, electrical tripping, and access to facilities have been reported. These issues suggest room for improvement in this category.

Thoughtfulness

The welcome basket is appreciated by guests, indicating thoughtfulness. However, the lack of basic provisions like sufficient toilet paper and heating not being on prior to arrival suggests that guest comfort could be more thoroughly considered. It should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.
