Comfortable, spacious, somewhat quirky spacious cottage with a wealth of exposed beams and brickwork. Large, secure garden on two sides with sitting area. Well equipped and comfortably supported but the kitchen and equipment is somewhat tired. Only one bathroom, not two as described in some literature. Nearest pub is three miles away, not within a mile as described. Stairs are steep as described and we had to be careful. We had a good week and the cottage has a certain magic about it. Nice to meet the owner ......

Myself and my family have spent a wonderful few days at Field Cottage. There was plenty of space for the grandchildren to run around and play in the lovely garden. Location was brilliant being so close to the forest, we saw lots of deer. The owner was very welcoming and left us a very nice homemade carrot cake! This was our second visit and hopefully not the last.
