Overlooking a lily and duck pond, these charming, detached conversions of a stable and granary have a cosy cottage appeal. Set near the owners’ lovely old farmhouse, they share 4 acres of secluded gardens and an all weather tennis court. Saxtead Green’s famous 18th century post mill (EH) is 1 mile, Framlingham – an attractive market town with a castle and mere – is 2 miles, Southwold with its glorious beach, Aldeburgh and the lovely town of Woodbridge with its pretty harbour are all an easy drive. Fishing, riding and golf are all under 10 miles. Shop and pubs 1 mile.
The Stables (ref E3491) and The Granary (ref E3669) can be booked together to accommodate up to 11 guests.. Both properties: Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair. Garden with patio and garden furniture. 4-acre grounds with barbecue (Shared). Hard tennis court (please bring own raquets and white soled footwear) (Shared).

Lovely, helpful owners. Great, peaceful location. Overall it was a warm, clean and comfortable holiday let, but the furniture was rather tired, and odd things like chipped plates, and very blunt knives, let it down a bit. However, it was good value for money, compared to other places I've stayed.

Overall we enjoyed our brief stay at The Stables and it is good value for money. Beautifully quiet and relaxing with little light pollution for those that like the night sky. Sarah and Bill, the owners, are lovely people who are very welcoming. We have stayed in both The Stables and The Granary, luxurious they are not, but they are comfortable and at the end of the day you get what you pay for, no frills in this case.

Stayed a week , booked for 2 left early as was not happy, dirty outdated needs fully refurbished, new beds , sofa kitchen , smelt fusty and to top it off the toilet backed up to the rim ,being disabled did not help
