The hut is on the edge of the scenic Broads National Park in the little village of Barsham, renowned for its Grade I-listed historic church. Just 3 miles away, the bustling Georgian market town of Beccles offers excellent independent shops, eateries and scenic cruises on the peaceful River Waveney. Rent a canoe, kayak or boat to explore the lovely Waveney Valley, where you may spot kingfishers and otters. Follow quiet walking and cycling trails along the Waveney Valley and circular country paths linking Barsham and Beccles. For a day at the seaside, head to Lowestoft (12 miles) or Southwold (16 miles), both with golden sands. Splendid Victorian stately home, Somerleyton Hall and Gardens (13 miles) has 12 acres of spectacular grounds and an impressive yew hedge maze.
This welcoming, bespoke hideaway sits among trees at the edge of a glamping site on a working farm. A flight of three steps with a handrail leads into the hut’s bright and spacious open-plan layout. This blends style and country charm, with pretty fabrics, soft colours and tongue and groove woodwork. The streamlined kitchen features all you will need to start cooking, including an integrated fridge/freezer, while the pull-down king-size bed can be folded away to create a cosy seating area and table that seats four. The inviting bed is beautifully dressed and has an eco-friendly wool duvet. The hut also houses a separate sleeping compartment with comfortable, full-length bunk beds and a stylish shower room with a WC and heated towel rail. There is parking next to the hut.
