A very unique place to stay, not everyone's 'cup of tea' but certainly an interesting experience. It feels like living in an antique shop with 'style'. We stayed in October, and managed to keep the place warm using a lot of logs on the burner, but later in the year it could be tricky to keep the rooms comfortable. I imagine in the Summer time it would be super as one could make better use of the garden & hot tub. Sadly you do hear loud noises from next door (lower bedroom), washing machines etc quite early in the morning (6:30am one day) which isn't really a perfect 'hideaway', and the finishing of certain elements, are a little 'shaky', toilet seats, ensuite bathroom table etc but overall a clean, fun and welcoming space & if you're an outgoing person well worth a look :)

Great central location , spotlessly clean , a little cluttered & eclectic but nice , hot tub wasn’t filled upon arrival so couldn’t use until next day , costly firewood as accommodation very cold so needed fire on good 5:6 hours day as no other heating . Paul the owner very friendly and met us on arrival & called 2nd day to check in on us
