Your four-legged friend is welcome on Denes beach all year round and on the main beach outside the summer season. Wander to the common and pick up the footpath to the harbour (1 mile) where you can cross the creek by foot ferry to Walberswick; you can also play golf on the common at Southwold Golf Club.
