This extremely social holiday home welcomes both busy and tranquil evenings. Gather in the open-plan kitchen/diner and crack open another bottle of fizz, or curl up with a good book in the walled garden with the sunset as your backdrop. With lots of worktop space available, rope all your troops into helping with dinner and usher them to the table for a feast that continues long into the night. The games room is the perfect way to top off those lively evenings; a SmartTV, games console, full-size football table and the 5' pool table all provide healthy competition after long days of ramblings. Alternatively, fill the living room with endless chatter while you warm your toes in front of the open fireplace. Settle in one of five gorgeous bedrooms residing over three floors and drift off amid neutral tones.
If you can tear yourself away from this stunning property, enjoy a hearty pub lunch at the local watering hole or fill up your cupboards with produce from the nearby shop (both 200 metres away). Beach days are yours to lap up, with Southwold, Walberswick and The Denes Beach all within 1 mile of the cottage. Explore the imposing lighthouse of Southwold and wander the pier with a newspaper of fish and chips, noticing the boats bobbing along the water as you go. Venture down the coast path to Walberswick, where you can visit the 1000-acre nature reserve and watch in awe at the annual British open crabbing championships!
