Lovely good size bedrooms and comfortable beds. The house is in a gorgeous location right near the river and only 15 minutes from the nearest grocery shops, despite being in a small village. The hosts were great, setting up the top floor as twin beds, and allowing us to leave whenever we liked on the Sunday. They even made us up a fabulous welcome hamper with bread, butter, eggs, milk and a massive cake! The only thing I would suggest is maybe some investment in new oven trays, spatulas and knives as these were a little lacking (the trays were quite dirty, spatulas were a bit melted and the knives blunt). I would also say we had some wet weather so it could have been good to provide a doormat to wipe wet shoes on by the front door. It was a bit of a squeeze to sit all of us in 1 room to use the TV screen but we made it work. Thanks for having us!

The house has lots of history which the owners have detailed on a picture in the kitchen, which was lovely to read. The house was extremely well equipped and we were not short of anything during our stay. The owners, when contacted, were extremely helpful and friendly.
