Set next to the newly renovated beautiful country pub, The Boyne Arms, which is run by the owners of this property. The Boyne Arms offers fantastic meals in a most comfortable and cosy setting. Burwarton is close to Shrewsbury, Ironbridge, Ludlow and Bridgnorth which all offer an array of attractions, as well as a large range of shops and bars. For the more active guests there are many walks to enjoy, such as, Clee Burf and Brown Clee Hill which is the highest point in Shropshire. The town of Ludlow is just a short drive away, as is Mortimer Forest and Ludlow Castle which are well worth a visit. After a long day walking and exploring all that Shropshire has to offer, guests can relax in the private courtyard that comes with this property. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 10 yards.

The Holmans
Lovely cottage, with nice personal touches for humans and dogs. Range if waljs on doorstep and a 309 minute drive away. Would recommend eating in the Boyne Arms next door. Good pub food with friendly and efficient staff. Some road noise but not inside and it is a country road. Hoping to return. Hosts really helpful and friendly. A lovely weekend break with lots to do in the area if you have a car.

The Boyne Arms cottage was in a lovely location and easy enough to find. The pub next door is lovely and the food was great. The Sunday dinner was amazing! Very close to Ludlow and Bridgnorth (15-20 minute drive) and we did a couple of dog walks straight from the doorstep up Brown Clee Hill. The cottage itself wasn’t as clean as I’d hoped, the floor hadn’t been hoovered very well as there were quite a few bits under the dining table and armchair and there were lots of cobwebs (expected in an old property though!) and hairs in the bath plughole. The tv remote doesn’t work well either. There was also only one wine glass and no oven gloves but plenty of other glasses and we just used a tea towel to get things out of the oven. It was very handy having the air fryer. There aren’t any takeaways in the area however The Three Horseshoes pub which is a 4 minute drive away, will let you takeaway and you can also eat in for a meal. We went here when the pub next door was closed. We slept fine in the beds, the clothing rails and chests of drawers gave plenty of space to put clothes. We had some drinks and dog treats left for us which was lovely and the hot tub was great. We would definitely recommend to friends and family and would stay again!

The cottage was warm and reasonable well equipped, only couple issues: 1 is no bath mat for shower, this was dangerous. 2. The tv remote did not work, had to either leave it on or turn off at plug, it was reported. 3 the pillows needed updating. 4 sparsely furnished in bedrooms, no bedside cabinets. Apart from these issues the cottage was good.
