Sitting in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, this sweet cottage for two and their canine companions has gorgeous views and access to lots of wonderful walks nearby and in the Shropshire Hills. There’s somewhere to sit and enjoy evening drinks or relax on a sun lounger as well as shared grounds and a 5-acre field where you can give the pups a good run.
With wooden beams and floors, contemporary comforts and stylish touches, the cottage has everything you need for a chilled stay. Step inside the spacious open-plan living area, it’s light and bright with a high ceiling and furnished with a comfortable sofa, a cosy wood burner, and a Smart TV at one end. The kitchen/diner is next to it, with everything you need to prepare tasty meals and space to enjoy them together at the dining table. Retire to bed in the gorgeous king-size bedroom, which has good storage and a stylish en-suite bathroom. There’s also a cloakroom/utility room with a second WC. Head outside on balmy evenings and relax in the covered outdoor space with a drink or pull up a sun lounger. There are shared grounds and gardens to explore and a large secure field your canine companions will love.
Head out for walks from the front door on the local footpaths and trails and join historic Offa’s Dyke Path and wend your way along the border. From here, you can head into the Shropshire Hills (5 miles) for more walks and stunning views. Drive or walk to the historic town Knighton (8 miles), the mid-point of Offa’s Dyke National Trail. Pop to the pub at Leintwardine (3 miles) and go out for lunch or dinner in foodie’s favourite Ludlow (13 miles).
